We hire bacteria. They do the heavy lifting.
EcoBen is a Polish manufacturer of BioMe biological products. We develop our formulas from our own laboratory research and make them in Paniówki, Silesia.
How it started
Bacteria have been cleaning up nature for billions of years. They break down fats, proteins and plant matter without leaving anything toxic behind. All we did was give them a job.
It all started with a problem every homeowner knows: a septic tank that fills up too fast, a smell that keeps coming back and drains that keep blocking. Chemicals help for a while, but they kill the bacteria in the tank and can damage the system.
So we chose biology. For years we’ve carried out laboratory research and developed our own formulas, with selected bacterial strains and an optimal concentration of enzymes. That’s how the BioMe range came about.
Our people look after the day-to-day: production, accounts, marketing. The strategic decisions are made by the bacteria. They know best what needs doing in your septic tank and your pipes.

What matters to us
Biology, not chemicals
Bacteria and enzymes break down sludge, grease and the source of odours. No caustic soda, no acids, no chlorine.
We tell it straight
We also say what a product won’t do. Bacteria won’t clear a fully blocked pipe and they don’t replace desludging. We’d rather you knew that before you buy.
Care for your system
Our products won’t corrode PVC, PE or PP pipes, concrete or seals. They are 100% biodegradable.
We help you choose
Describe your problem to us at shop@ecoben.eu. We’ll tell you which product makes sense in your situation, and if none of them fits, we’ll tell you that too.
